The Dunes textured barn door is part of the motion door collection which draws inspiration from nature. The dunes is maybe too obvious that the inspiration resembles the wind blown sand in the Utah deserts which after lots of time, wind and rain gather into a mesmerizing pattern with ripples and ridges. The Utah deserts are some of the most beautiful places in the state and with a slight bit of bias, the world. This barn door will bring that same inspiring look and feel into your space as well as save you space! Fully manufactured by our craftsman in Springville Utah, USA.

Is this a wood or metal barn door?

Both. This door has a metal frame which holds the beautifully carved MDF panel.

Is the center panel solid wood?

Yes. The center panel is made from a single piece of MDF artistically carved on our CNC machine for the perfect geometric pattern that you see.

How thick is this door?

The metal frame is 1.5 inches thick and the wood tongue and groove slats are 3/4 inch thick.

Do the hangers and handles come pre-installed?

The hardware (hangers and pulls) are not installed but the metal door frame is prepared with riv-nuts for the hangers and the pulls to allow easy installation.

Does this door look the same on the back?

No. The geometric pattern on this door is only on the front. The back is a smooth panel painted in the same color as the front.
