We, like many high end mills, “rip” the edges off of every plank to ensure the wood we’re building your door with is straight and clean. This creates a huge amount of waste/scrap pieces that have amazing texture and character that door shops normally throw away. Because of our commitment to utilizing all of our materials to the fullest, we created this beautiful door featuring only these gorgeous pieces of scrap wood.
