This week we are spotlighting one of our expert door builders and manger of our wood entry door team, Pat King! Pat has been in the industry for over 20 years and loves getting to know his employees, seeing them grow, and fall love with their jobs as they become members of his team. Pat is inspired by music, nature, and the material he is working with at the time (wood, paint, ink, pencils).
Pats favorite door to build is our
Locust Front Door and his favorite tool to use is the Norfield Door Hanging Machine. Crafting with wood all day everyday, Pat's favorite type of wood to work with is Quarter Sawn White Oak because of its character and wavy grain pattern.
