There’s always the dilemma of wanting lots of natural light, but somehow, finding a way to maintain privacy. We have quite a few different glass options that will allow you to take advantage of the natural light without forcing you to sacrifice your privacy. Glass expert, Jon Baldado, explains which glass styles will work best for your situation!
What Glass Style Do We Recommend For Privacy? The primary glass style recommended for privacy is Frosted glass. This type of glass allows for the transmission of light during the daytime hours while blurring images in the background. For evening hours, images will remain vague even though backlight is present. Frosted glass coupled with French doors styles, such as our Chateaux or Conservatory designs, provide additional privacy due to the enhanced grid design.
Other glass recommendations for privacy are Overcast and Citrus. These types of glass still provide the benefit of blurred images yet are slightly more transparent than Frosted glass. These features, coupled with various texture patterns, make them an excellent choice for commercial purposes.
