Artisan Spotlight - Carl Cooper

This week we are spotlighting one of our expert welders, Carl Cooper! Carl has been welding for 8 years and works on all of our metal doors and hardware here at Rustica.

Carl enjoys building a variety of things, he likes to mix it up to keep his work fresh. Being able to provide for his family with his own two hands is what inspires Carl to continue welding. Carl’s favorite metal finish is our Raw Steel finish. He likes being able to see the craftsmanship rather than hiding it with a powder coat. Carl’s favorite part about his job is his co-workers and being able to work with his hands.

“Whenever welding be sure ​​​​to clean the materials as good as possible to ensure the best possible weld.”
